Project Brief

Filipina women craved a deeper connection with the ads of Philips. Existing material, while celebrating beauty, lacked local representation and familiar, recognizable elements.

Creative Solution

Photo: We casted talents with diverse hair experiences with solo and duo shots to appeal to different audiences. The styling shows looks from casual to formal in the colors of the product line. We used different blower accessories showing the flexibility of Philip’s product.


Video: Recognizing the diverse experiences of Filipina hair, we sought to create visuals and messaging that represented different groups. We edited a main 30-second video with two 15-second edit-downs one highlighting a straight-haired girl and the other a curly-haired girl - celebrating every Filipina's unique beauty.
